While nothing about the new gaming browser is explained in the announcement blog post on the Opera website, it only defines Opera GX as “a new and special version of our browser made with those of you who play games in mind.” According to Opera, the browser will be up for testing very soon and pre-registration to the previews have already begun. “We would like to invite you to be among the first ones to get to know Opera GX once it becomes available. “Head over to www.opera.com/gx to subscribe now. “We won’t keep you waiting for long!” reads the announcement. Once you click on the above-mentioned link, it opens the Opera GX gaming browser webpage with an apparent dark theme and red accents. The browser features a side panel that has icons linked to Extensions, History, Speed Indicator and Settings, while the main toolbar has a gamepad icon on it. It also has a color slider that changes the theme of the browser page.
